Trinity Fall Student-Athletes Earn NESCAC All-Academic Honors
Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 40 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2011 Fall All-Academic Team.. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
Of the 614 student-athletes that earned Fall All-Academic, 291 individuals received recognition for the second-straight year. In addition, 65 players garnered both All-Academic and All-Conference accolades, and a total of 48 individuals received All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic honors.
