Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College fall athletic teams placed 40 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2013 Fall All-Academic Team. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.35. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
Of the 680 student-athletes that earned Fall All-Academic, 242 individuals received recognition for the second-straight year. In addition, 67 players garnered both All-Academic and All-Conference accolades, and a total of 52 individuals received All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic honors.
Of the 40 Trinity student-athletes to be placed on this team, 13 are two-time Fall All-Academic members, eight are three-time Fall Academic members, three were also named to the All-NESCAC team, and six were named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
