Intramural Rules
Intramural Rules
Good sportsmanship is a requirement of all participants. Players and coaches are to conduct themselves property at all times. The Intramural Coordinator reserves the right to suspend or disqualify individuals or a group for unsportsmanlike conduct. Unsportsmanlike actions before, during and/or after a contest will not be tolerated and anyone who tries them, will face swift disciplinary actions. The team captain assumes full responsibility for the conduct of the team and spectators. There will be no alcohol consumed before or during the game. Those who do, will be suspended and the team will forfeit the game.
Unsportsmanlike conduct includes actions which are unbecoming to an ethical, fair, or honorable individual. It consists of acts of deceit, disrespect, fighting, vulgarity, taunting, or the intentional injuring of another player. The Intramural Department disapproves of any form of taunting which is intended or designed to embarrass, ridicule or demean others under any circumstances.
Any player or team that is suspended from an intramural competition, must meet with the Intramural Coordinator before they may resume any other intramural activities. If a player or team is suspended from two activities, they will not be allowed to participate in any other intramural programs, for the rest of the year. No Varsity Athlete may play Intramural's during their season. They may not play the sport that they are involved with either.
