Kristen Anderson


Junior co-captain Kristen Anderson had 15 kills against just two errors for a .371 kill percentage and added 12 assists, nine digs, and a block in Trinity's 3-2 upset win over Tufts, which was ranked No. 1 in New England.  Anderson added 15 kills and a .243 kill percentage with 17 assists, one ace, six digs, and a block in a 3-1 victory over Bowdoin the next day.  She also had nine kills and a .350 kill percentage with 14 assists, one ace, 14 digs, and three blocks in a 3-1 loss at Coast Guard.  Anderson averaged 3.0 kills, 3.3 assists, and 2.3 digs per set in the three matches and had a .315 kill percentage for the week.  She was selected as the NESCAC Player of the Week for her excellent performance in the three matches.  Anderson, the only junior on the Bantam volleyball squad that also does not include any seniors, plays a verstaile role with the team as a right side hitter and a setter.  She is also a top pitcher on the Trinity softball team.  A three-time all-division and an All-State selection at West Haven High School in Connecticut, Anderson is majoring in economics at Trinity.  She is the daughter of Kathy and John Anderson.
