      <description>Trinity College student-athletes have not only gained recognition on the field but they do so in the classroom as well. 75 Bantams earned NESCAC All-Academic honors, eight were named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team, and two were selected as ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Americans in 2008-09. Six Trinity student-athletes were named President's Fellows, three were Deans' Scholars, 16 were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and one was awarded a postgraduate scholarship by the NCAA.</description>

      <description>Bantam student-athletes give back to their campus community and to the surrounding Greater Hartford community. Such activities from the past year include mentoring in Hartford area schools, raising awareness and thousands of dollars for cancer research, and volunteering in Hartford area hospitals, homeless shelters, literacy organizations, social organizations, etc.</description>

      <description>Trinity College is recognized as one of the top teams year-in and year-out in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The Bantams won league titles last season in football, men's and women's squash, and baseball, while 11 student-athletes were selected as NESCAC Players and/or Rookies of the Year, four coaches were selected as NESCAC Coaches of the Year, and 64 student-athletes were named to the All-NESCAC Teams.</description>

      <description>On the national stage, Trinity's student-athletes have risen to the challenge time and time again. The Bantams have won 11 consecutive men's squash national titles, two women's squash national titles, two women's varsity eight rowing national crowns, 11 individual national championships, and the 2008 NCAA Division III National Baseball Championship.</description>
