Hartford, Conn., June 24, 2009 Trinity College womens rowing senior tri-captain Natalie Jones (Haverford, Pa.) was named to the 2009 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA)/Pocock Division III All-American First Team, while senior tri-captain Ashley Swiggett (Basking Ridge, N.J.) graced the CRCA/Pocock Division III All-American Second Team.

Hartford, Conn., June 23, 2009 Trinity College senior RHP Jeremiah Bayer (Greenfield, Mass.) was selected as the 2009 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III Pitcher of the Year and the D3Baseball.com National Pitcher of the Year, while Bayer and senior co-captain C Sean Killeen (Greenfield, Mass.) were each selected to the D3Baseball.com All-American First Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III All-American First Team, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III All-New England Team, and for the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA Senior All-Star Game on June 4 in Brockton, Mass.

Trinity College freshman Alex Bermingham (Bedford, N.Y.) was selected as the lone representative from the East Region to the 2009 Golf Coaches (GCAA) National All-Freshman Team, while junior co-captain Reid Longley (Atlanta, Ga.) and sophomore Jay Driscoll (Milton, Mass.) were each selected for the Ping Division III All-Regional Teams as selected by the GCAA.

Hartford, Conn., June 16, 2009 Trinity College mens tennis junior Spencer Feldman (Upper Brookville, N.Y.) was selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Conference First Team, while Bantam senior co-captain Gautam Samarth (Pune, India) and freshman Charles McConnell (Southampton, N.Y.) were selected to the All-NESCAC Second Team as a doubles tandem.

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College football program will host its annual football skills clinic for all boys who have not yet entered
their senior year of high school on August 1, 2009.
Trinity College student-athletes have not only gained recognition on the field but they do so in the classroom as well. 69 Bantams earned NESCAC All-Academic honors, five were named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team, and one was selected as an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American in 2007-08. Two Trinity student-athletes were named President's Fellows, three were Deans' Scholars, three were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and one was awarded a postgraduate scholarship by the NCAA.
Bantam student-athletes give back to their campus community and to the surrounding Greater Hartford community. Such activities from the past year include mentoring in Hartford area schools, raising awareness and thousands of dollars for cancer research, and volunteering in Hartford area hospitals, homeless shelters, literacy organizations, social organizations, etc.
Trinity College is recognized as one of the top teams year-in and year-out in the New England Small College Athletic Conference. The Bantams won league titles last season in men's basketball, men's ice hockey, men's and women's squash, baseball, and men's rowing, while six student-athletes were selected as NESCAC Players of the Year and 60 were named to the All-NESCAC Teams.
On the national stage, Trinity's student-athletes have risen to the challenge time and time again. The Bantams have won 10 consecutive men's squash national titles, two women's squash national titles, two women's varsity eight rowing national crowns, and 2008 NCAA Division III National Baseball Championship.
