Trinity's Casanova Selected As NESCAC Baseball Player Of The Week
Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior OF David Casanova (Bristol, Conn.) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Baseball Player of the Week. Casanova reached base safely in eight of his nine trips to the plate during a doubleheader sweep of rival Wesleyan last week. Casanova finished the twin-bill with a .857 batting average (6-for-7) and .889 on-base mark (two walks), hitting a double and scoring three runs. He also drove in a run and stole a base.
