    Baseball Splits Pair Versus Mitchell Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College baseball team exploded for 14 runs en route to a 14-3 victory in game one before dropping game two, 5-2, to the Mitchell College Mariners on Saturday afternoon in a doubleheader at a rainy Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium in Hartford. Trinity moves to 6-6 on the season while Mitchell sits at 9-6 overall after today's results.

    Baseball Game Versus Eastern Connecticut State Moved to Trinity on Tuesday Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College baseball team will open the 2017 home schedule on Tuesday, March 21st, against Eastern Connecticut State, after originally being scheduled to play in Willimantic. Last week's snowstorm dumped nearly a foot of snow on both fields, however Trinity's turf field has been cleared and the Warriors have agreed to travel to Hartford to play. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.

    Trinity Athletics Mourns the Passing of Former Baseball All-American Kurtis Piantek Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College Athletics is saddened by the recent loss of Kurtis Piantek '03. Kurtis was an All-American baseball player for the Bantams, helping Trinity reach its first NCAA College World Series appearance in 2003 when he was the NCAA Division III home run champion and was selected by the National Sports Writers Association as DIII National Player of the Year. Our thoughts are with Kurtis' family and his many friends.
