Trinity Baseball Alum And New Minnesota Twins President Alum Derek Falvey Getting Media Attention

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College baseball alum Derek Falvey '05 has been hired by MLB's Minnesota Twins as its next head of baseball operations.  Falvey, who was most recently the assistant general manager for the Cleveland Indians, was a right-handed pitcher for the Bantams in the early 2000's and a member of Trinity's 2003 NCAA Division III World Series squad. Falvey's appointment has been heavily covered in the media and a sampling is listed below, including a spread in The New York Times.  Also this spring, the Trinity squad was featured on NBC Connecticut prior to its game against Union on May 6, and the Hartford Courant twice featured Trinity's Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium early in the season.
