New Britain, Conn. – Freshman Dave Cnuningham (Arlington, Mass.) delivered a clutch hit in the eighth inning to break a 5-5 tie and lead the Amherst College Lord Jeffs to an 8-5 win over the Trinity College Bantams in the opening game of the NESCAC Championship Tournament at Beehive Stadium.
