Hartford, Conn., July 30, 2009 – The 2008 NCAA Division III Champion Trinity College baseball team, which reached unprecedented heights that season with a record-breaking, won-loss mark of 45-1 (the best-ever winning percentage in NCAA baseball history at .978), a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship title, an NCAA Division III Regional Championship crown, and the first NCAA Division III National Team Championship title in College history in any sport, has been included in an exhibit of excellence in amateur baseball at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Trinity Baseball Alum Natale Featured in Middletown Press Article

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College baseball player Jeff Natale (Hamden, Conn.) was recently featured in an article that appeared in the Middletown Press.





Trinity's baseball team is a consistent contender in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Under Head Coach Bill Decker, the team has rewritten the College's record book, while consistently qualifying for the post-season. The Bantams won the Division III National Championship and a record-breaking 44 straight games in 2008, and followed with another NCAA Division III World Series in 2009. Since 1991, the team has participated in postseason competition 13 times and advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series four times.
