Hartford, Conn. – Sophomore Peter Burrows (Floral Park, N.Y.) pitched shutout as the Trinity College Bantams topped the Bowdoin College Polar Bears, 6-0, to earn their fourth NESCAC Championship Tournament title this afternoon. The Bantams improve to 32-9 overall with their ninthth straight win, and earn an automatic bid the NCAA Div. III National Championship Tournament, their first appearance since 2009, and their ninth since 1998.

Hartford, Conn. – Senior Edward Donovan (Milton, Mass.) pitched eight strong innings and the offense backed him with 17 hits as the Trinity College Bantams cruised to a 13-3 win over the Bowdoin College Polar Bears in the NESCAC Championship Tournament, on Campus Field at Trinity College today.
