Hartford, Conn. - The Boston Red Sox selected Trinity College senior RHP Jeremiah Bayer (Greenfield, Mass.) in the 30th round of Major League Baseball's Amateur Draft, and Bantam senior C Sean Killeen (Greenfield, Mass.) signed a free agent contract with the Red Sox shortly after the conclusion of the draft.

Carthage Scores Eight In The Seventh To End Trinity Baseball Season Early

Grand Chute, Wisc. – Junior RHP Jordan Jaehne-Llanas (Kenosha, Wisc.) allowed seven hits, five walks, and an unearned run with nine strikeouts in eight-plus innings, and senior 1B John Lequia (Racine, Wisc.) totaled five RBI, including a grand slam to lead the Carthage College Red Men to a 10-1 win over the defending NCAA Champion Trinity College Bantams in an elimination game of the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament this afternoon at Fox Cities Stadium.

Trinity Baseball's Donnelly And Loudon Take NESCAC All-Academic Honors

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College baseball senior Jacob Donnelly (Suffield, Conn.) and junior Doug Loudon (Dover, N.H.) were each selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2009 Spring All-Academic Team.





Trinity is a consistent contender in the NCAA Division III Tournament.  The team has rewritten the College's record book while consistently qualifying for the post-season, winning the NCAA Division III National Championship and a record-breaking 44 straight games in 2008.  Since 1991, Trinity has participated in post-season competition 12 times and advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series in 2003, 2005, and 2008.
