Trinity's Finnucan Named As NESCAC Football Co-Defensive Player Of The Week
Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior NT Tom Finnucan (Orange, Conn.) was selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Football Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Finnucan made a team-high 13 tackles (three solo), recording four tackles for a loss of 16 yards and two sacks for a loss of seven, during the Bantams’ 27-0 victory over Wesleyan, Trinity’s fourth shutout of the year. The Bantam defense held the Cardinals to 107 yards of total offense and just 33 yards in the second half. He also forced and recovered a fumble in the game and blocked a field goal.
