Paul Philippon, the head football coach at Bristol Eastern High School from 2004 to 2008, begins his fi rst season as cornerbacks coach for the Bantams this fall. Philippon was 31-19-2 at Bristol Eastern including divison titles in 2007 and 2008, before coaching the defensive backs in 2009 and coordinating the offense last autumn for playoff teams at Glastonbury Hig School. Prior to Bristol Eastern he was an assistant at Conard High School in West Hartford.

A 1990 graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Philippon also possesses a master’s degree in education from the University of Hartford. He was a starting tight end at his alma mater. Philippon has taught special education in Connecticut for 15 years, including the last six at Bristol Eastern.
