Trinity Field Hockey Gets Fourth Straight Win to Start Season
Hartford, Conn. - Senior Karli Del Rossi (Mantua,
N.J.) scored two goals and the defensive unit was strong
again as the Trinity College Bantams cruised to a 4-1 victory over
the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Corsairs in field hockey
action this afternoon on Sheppard Field. The Bantams are 4-0
with the win, having allowed just one goal all season. UMass
gets their first loss of the year, falling to 4-1.
Sophomore Christina Bradley (Wellesley, Mass.)
scored a goal and added an assist and junior Carrie Wolcott
(Hamilton, Mass.) also scored for Trinity. Sophomore
Payden Sra (Pewaukee, Wisc.) started in net for
the Bantams, and improves her individual record to 4-0, and has yet
to be scored on this season. First-year Gina Dinallo
(West Hartford, Conn.) finished the game in net for
Trinity, making four saves, and allowing just one goal on a penalty
stroke by UMass sophomore Stephanie Kinchla (Falmouth,
Mass.). Junior goalkeeper Seana Golden
(Somerset, Mass.) made 29 stops in net for the Corsairs.
