    Hartford, Conn. - As the fall sports season winds to a close, this year's ninth Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the field hockey and football field. Field hockey senior Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and football junior Koby Schofer (Northbridge, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior co-captain forward Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.) was chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2018 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Year, and joined senior goalkeeper Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.) on the All-NESCAC First Team.

    Clinton, N.Y. - The Trinity College field hockey team came away with a 2-0 victory over the Hamilton College Continentals on Saturday at a rainy Goodfriend Field in Clinton, N.Y. in the quarterfinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship Tournament. The No. 17-ranked Bantams improve to 12-4 on the year and advance to next weekend's semifinals at a site to be determined. Hamilton falls to 10-6 on the year with the loss.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team, which finished the 2018 regular season with an 11-5 record and tied for fourth place with Bowdoin and Hamilton in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 6-4 league mark, has qualified for the league's championship tournament for the 13th consecutive season and will visit the Hamilton College Continentals in the quarterfinals for the second year in a row on Saturday, October 27 at 12:30 p.m.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team held Wellesley College without a single shot all game in a 6-0 victory on Saturday afternoon in Hartford. The Bantams scored twice in the first half before pouring on four more goals in the second to improve to 10-4 overall and snap a two-game losing skid. The Blue fall to 5-10 on the year with the setback. Before the game Trinity honored its four seniors, Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.), Ally Slowe (Medfield, Mass.),  Jenna Behan (West Hartford, Conn.) and Lori Berger (Scottsdale, Ariz.), as part of Senior Day.

    Hartford, Conn. - Senior co-captain Chandler Solimine (Pelham, N.Y.) scored once in the first half and twice more in the second for her first hat trick of the season to lead the Trinity College field hockey team to a 4-0 victory over the Bates College Bobcats in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action at Robin Sheppard Field in Hartford. The shutout is Trinity's fourth in a row as the Bantams have outscored their opponents, 13-0, in the last four games.
