Trinity's Rowe Selected To All-NESCAC Men's Basketball Team

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior co-captain guard Paul Rowe (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2008-09 Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team and to the NESCAC Winter All-Sportsmanship Team. The Trinity men's team finished the season with a record of 9-15 and tied Bates for sixth place in the NESCAC at 4-5 under first year head coach Sean Tabb. The team lost at Amherst in the quarterfinal round of the NESCAC Championship Tournament, 80-66.
Rowe averaged a team high 12.3 points and 4.1 rebounds a game, to go along with 27 steals, 22 assists, and 11 blocks this season. Rowe scored a game-high 30 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds in the Bantam playoff game. The son of Sophia Simpson and Paul Rowe, he is majoring in economics and philosophy.
