  • Reifler, Padmore Named as Bantams of the Week

    Hartford, Conn. - As we near the end of the fall semester, this year's 14th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the hardwood. Women's basketball senior Becky Reifler (Garden City, N.Y.) and men's basketball junior tri-captain Kyle Padmore (Milton, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Paxton, Mass. - The Trinity College men’s basketball team took a five-point lead into the half but ultimately fell, 60-57, to the Anna Maria Amcats on Sunday afternoon at the Fuller Center. Trinity falls to 7-3 in its final game of the fall semester while the Amcats improve to 3-6.

    Hartford, Conn. – Sophomore forward Donald Jorden (Tampa, Fla.) had 17 points, making eight of 10 shots from the field, and 13 rebounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 69-53 win over the visiting Clarkson University Golden Knights in men’s basketball action this afternoon at Oosting Gymnasium. 
  • Trinity Basketball Programs to Host 'Toys For Tots' Drive on Saturday

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's and women's basketball programs will host its "Toys for Tots" toy drive this Saturday, December 8th. The women's team hosts Connecticut College at 1 p.m. before the men take on Clarkson at 3 p.m. The Bantams encourage their friends and family to bring an unwrapped toy to the game to help the Toys for Tots program.

    Hartford, Conn. – Junior tri-captain Nick Seretta (Greenfield, Mass.) scored 10 of his team-high 14 points in the second half to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 69-52 win over the visiting Springfield College Pride in men’s basketball action this evening at Oosting Gymnasium.

    The Trinity College men's basketball team went 2-1 last week, highlighted by a 2-0 weekend at the Ed Hockenbury Classic, to improve to 5-2 on the year. This week, the Bantams close out their fall semester schedule with home games on Wednesday and Saturday versus Springfield and Clarkson, respectively, and a road matchup on Sunday at Anna Maria.

    Northfield, Vt. - Senior tri-captain forward Connor Merinder (Andover, Mass.) had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 51-49 victory over the Southern Vermont College Mountaineers in the opening round of the Ed Hockenbury Men's Basketball Classic at Norwich University this evening.

    Hartford, Conn. - Ronald Jefferson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting to help lead the visiting Western Connecticut State Colonials to a 78-73 victory over the Trinity College Bantams on Wednesday night in men's basketball action at Oosting Gymnasium in Hartford.
