Hartford, Conn., June 2, 2009 - Stanley Ogrodnik (Tolland, Conn.), the most successful coach in Trinity College basketball history, was honored by the Connecticut Sportswriters Alliance this spring as a Gold Key recipient for his lasting impact on sports in the state of Connecticut.

Trinity's Rowe Selected To All-NESCAC Men's Basketball Team

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior co-captain guard Paul Rowe (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2008-09 Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team and to the NESCAC Winter All-Sportsmanship Team.

Trinity's Pangburn Selected To NESCAC All-Academic Squad For Men's Basketball

Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College men's basketball senior Aaron Pangburn (Hanover, Vt.) was selected to the 2009 New England Small College Athletic Conference Winter All-Academic Team.





Trinity's 27-year record under Head Coach Stan Ogrodnik has included seven NCAA Tournament bids, four ECAC Division III New England titles, and five appearances in the ECAC championship game. In 1994-95, the team earned its way into the NCAA Division III Final Four, finishing 24-5 to tie a school record set in the 1983-84 season.  In six of the last 11 seasons, the team has returned to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, while winning the NESCAC Championship in 2008.  In the 89-year history of Trinity men's basketball, 27 players have scored 1,000 points or more, and 17 have pulled down 500 or more rebounds.
