Trinity Golf Wins Tri-Match Against Top Ten Teams Oglethorpe & Rhodes


Port St. Lucie, Fla. - Trinity junior co-captain Reid Longley (Atlanta, Ga.) shot a 73 and finished as one of three players tied for first overall, leading the Trinity College Bantams to first place in a golf tri-match against Oglethorpe University and Rhodes College this afternoon on the Dye Course at PGA Village.  Trinity, ranked No. 24 in the nation, finished 19-over-par at 307, which was four strokes ahead of No. 4-ranked Oglethorpe and eight better than No. 12-ranked Rhodes.  Sophomore Jay Driscoll (Milton, Mass.) shot a 76 and senior Alec MacColl (Centennal, Colo.) shot a 78 for the Bantams.
