Trinity Golf Finishes Third In Sunshine Invitational To Start Spring
Port St. Lucie, Fla. - Freshman John Shilling (New Canaan, Conn.) shot a seventh-place, two-round score of 151, as the Trinity College Bantams finished third as a team in the Sunshine Invitational Golf Tournament on the Ryder Course at PGA Village this afternoon. Shilling shot a 77 on Thursday and a 74 today, while sophomore Jack Palley (Pelham, Mass.) shot a 77 and a 76 to finish eighth at 155. The Bantams totaled 629 strokes, while Williams edged Calvin for the team title, 596 to 599.
