Trinity Golf Ties For Third Among Division III Schools With All-Rookie Lineup At NEIGA Tourney
Brewster, Mass. – Freshman Alex Lynch (Greenwich, Conn.) shot a two-round score of 151 (75, 76) to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a ninth-place tie with the University of Southern Maine Huskies in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship Tournament at the Captain's Course this afternoon. Trinity registered a team score of 313 each day for a two-day total of 626, which was two shy of eighth-place Husson and one lower than three teams tied for 11th place. Fellow Bantam rookie William Burchill (East Walpole, Mass.) added a 78 and a 77 for 155.
