Trinity Golf Ties For Fourth Place At Williams Spring Opener

Williamstown, Mass. - Freshman Alex Lynch (Greenwich, Conn.) shot a two-round score of 158 to finish in a tie for ninth place and lead the Trinity College Bantams to a fourth-place tie in the Williams College Spring Golf Opener this weekend at Toski Golf Club.  Trinity tied Hamilton with 634 points, having closed Saturday's play in third place with a team score of 309 before slumping to 325 today to drop a spot.  The host Williams Ephs won the event with a score of 622.  Today's play was hampered by rainy weather.  Lynch shot a 77 on Saturday and an 81 today, while Bantam junior tri-captain Jack Palley (Pelham, Mass.) carded a team-low 76 on Saturday and an 84 today to total 160 for the weekend.
