Trinity Golf Finishes Third At NYU Invitational

Bloomfield, N.J. - Junior Jack Junge (Lincolnshire, Ill.) shot a Sunday 74 to finished tied for fifth and help lead the Trinity College Bantams to a third place finish in the NYU Invitational at the Forest Hill Field Club in their first tournament of the spring season this weekend. Junge fired a 76 on Saturday to enter the day in a tie for eighth-place. Junior Will Rosenfield (Baltimore, Md.) tied for fifth on the leaderboard with a 74 on Saturday before finishing with a 77 on Sunday to finish just behind Junge in seventh.  Senior captain Nate Choukas (Hanover, N.H.) and junior Kole Kelly (Belmont, Mass.) finished just outside the top-ten, in a tie for 12th after identical days of scoring to finish at 155 each.  As a squad, the Bantams shot 619 (307+312) and finished 10 points behind second-place Rensselaer and 16 shy of first-place NYU.
