North Dartmouth, Mass. - Junior Will Rosenfield (Baltimore, Md.) finished as the individual runner-up with a two-day score of 147 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to the Westport Hampton Inn Men's Golf Invitational title this weekend at Allendale Country Club. Trinity dusted the field of 18 teams with a score of 606, which was 14 better than second-place Babson. Trinity had led Babson after Saturday's round by just three strokes despite shooting a stellar round of 299. The Bantams shot eight strokes higher than Saturday with a 307 today, but their score was 11 strokes better tha Babson's 318 and four lower than every other team in the field.
Rosenfield led the field after day one with a round of 72 and followed up with a 75 today to finish one stroke back of Rhode Island College's Austin Cilley. Trinity sophomore Cameron Chottiner (Houston, Texas) improved nine strokes from Saturday to Sunday with an 83 and a 74 for a fourth-place total of 150, while senior captain Nate Choukas (Hanover, N.H.) shot a 153 and classmate Kole Kelly (Belmont, Mass.) shot a 157 for the Bantams.
