St. Michael's Defeats Trinity In Men's Ice Hockey

Hartford, Conn. - Bryan Dodge scored the game-winning goal in the second period and Tyler Nilton made 48 saves to lead the visiting St. Michael's College Puprple Knights to a 2-1 win over the Trinity College Bantams in NESCAC/ECAC East men's ice hockey action this afternoon at Williams Rink. Trinity falls to 11-4 overall and 8-3 in the NESCAC with its first loss in 10 games, while the Purple Knights improve to 6-7-1. Senior defenseman William Burns (Livonia, Mich.) scored the Bantam goal and sophomore goalie Wesley Vesprini (Lexington, Mass.) made 21 saves.
