Peter Roundy, a 2010 graduate of Stonehill College, enters his second season as a Trinity College men’s ice hockey assistant coach. At Stonehill, Roundy was a member of the 2007 Northeast-10 Championship squad and was a two-time captain for the Skyhawks. He ranks among the top-ten assist leaders in the Stonehill program's history.
After graduating from Stonehill, Roundy immediately began his coaching career at Becker College where he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Hawks in 2010-11. Roundy helped guide the Hawks to a 7-4-3 mark against conference opponents and played a pivotal role in helping Becker complete one of the most successful seasons in the school’s history, as the team reached the conference semi-finals for only the second time.
Roundy earned a bachelor's degree from Stonehill in health care administration with a minor in business administration. Originally from Simsbury, Conn., he graduated from both Simsbury High School and as a post-graduate from Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H. Roundy is working towards his master’s degree in public policy at Trinity.
