Retired Trinity Men's Ice Hockey Coach Dunham Receives National Achievement Award

Hartford, Conn. - John Dunham (West Hartford, Conn.), who coached the Trinity College men's ice hockey team for the first 33 years of its existence as a varsity program and won 441 games and five league titles, has been selected as the 2010 John MacInnes Award recipient by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).

Hartford, Conn. – Junior forward Adam Houli (Howell, N.J.) scored the game’s only two goals and classmate Wesley Vesprini (Lexington, Mass.) earned a shutout in net with 30 saves to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 2-0 win over the visiting New England College Pilgrims in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)/Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East men’s ice hockey action this afternoon at the Koeppel Community Sports Center.

Trinity Men's Ice Hockey Falls To St. Anselm

Hartford, Conn. – Junior tri-captain forward Coleman Noonan (Norfolk, Mass.) notched two goals and one assist to lead the visiting St. Anselm College Hawks to a 5-3 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)/Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East men’s ice hockey action this evening at the Koeppel Community Sports Center.





Head Coach David Cataruzolo has played a pivotal role in guiding the Bantams to nine straight NESCAC Tournaments, a NESCAC Championship title in 2003 and 2008, three trips to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, and an NCAA Final Four appearance in 2005. As a rookie head coach in 2007, Cataruzolo's squad recorded four straight road victories to take the league crown and reach the NCAA Quarterfinals.
