Trinity Men's Lacrosse Downs Eastern Connecticut
Willimantic, Conn.- -Junior attackman Harper Cullen (Rehoboth Beach, Del.) scored all four of his goals in the fourth quarter, as the visiting Trinity College Bantams posted a 12-9 victory over the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in men's lacrosse action this afternoon On Nevers Field. Trinity imporves to 8-3 with its second win in a row, while the Warriors fall to 6-3.
Trinity erased Eastern Connecticut's 6-2 halftime lead by shutting out the Warriors in the third period and scoring eight straight goals between the final minute of the first half and into the first four minutes of the fourth period. Fourteen Eastern penalties provided Trinity with 14 extra-man opportunites and the Bantams cashed in three of them.
