Trinity's Johnson Selected As NESCAC Men's Lacrosse Player Of The Week
Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior captain goalkeeper Peter Johnson (Riverside, Conn.) was named as the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. Johnson helped keep the Bantams atop the NESCAC standings for another week as he made 22 saves (.733 save percentage) in a 9-8, come-from-behind victory over Middlebury on Saturday in Trinity’s lone game last week. Thirteen of his 22 stops came in the second half, as Johnson held the Panthers to one goal during that stretch and scoreless in the fourth quarter. The Bantams recovered from an 8-6 deficit after three periods for their sixth conference win of the season.
