Hartford, Conn. – Trinity College men's lacrosse Head Coach Jason Tarnow (1st season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2018 season as the Bantams will take to the field 15 times, highlighted by 10 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) games and seven games in front of their home crowd at Jessee/Miller Field.
Coming off a 5-10 campaign that saw Trinity go 1-9 in conference play, the team returns nearly their entire offense from last spring along with a strong core of veterans on their defensive backline. Add in a fresh, hungry crop of first-year players and the Bantams will look to turn heads in the NESCAC this spring.
Trinity will open the season at Roger Williams on March 3rd before opening at home on March 6th against Skidmore. Four days later, the Bantams welcome NESCAC opponent Williams College to town (3/10) for the team's first league game of the spring. Trinity hits the road for three-straight games following the contest versus the Ephs, starting with Salve Regina on March 14th, before battles at conference opponent Bates (3/17) and Emmanuel (3/19). The Bantams then return home on March 24th for a matchup against Tufts University before another game at home on the 27th against Babson. Trinity closes out the month of March with a NESCAC tilt versus Bowdoin on the 31st.
After a bout at Connecticut College on April 4th, the Bantams play three straight home games, against Hamilton (4/7), Wesleyan (4/10) and Middlebury (4/14). The Bantams will honor the members of its senior class as a part of Senior Day before their April 14th matchup versus the Panthers. Trinity closes out the regular season with back-to-back road games, the first of which comes on April 21st at Colby, before an April 25th battle at Amherst. Should the Bantams qualify, this year's NESCAC Championship Tournament will take place from April 28-May 6.
