Trinity College Hires New Assistant Coaches For Fall And Spring Sports

Hartford, Conn., September 11, 2009—Trinity College has hired Zachary Trudeau (Norwell, Mass.) as an assistant men’s soccer and assistance men’s lacrosse coach, and Julia King (Yarmouth, Maine) and Michelle Smith (Wayland, Mass.) as assistant field hockey and assistant women’s lacrosse coaches.

Trinity College Athletic Director Rick Hazelton Announces His Retirement

Hartford, Conn., September 1, 2009 – After 28 years as department chair and director of athletics at Trinity College, and 36 years of total service to the College, Rick Hazelton will retire effective June 30, 2010.





The Bantam lacrosse team, coached by James Finlay, makes frequent appearances in the post-season, including bids to the NESCAC Championship Tourney in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2009. One of the oldest and most successful lacrosse programs in New England, Trinity was ranked among the top 10 teams in the region in 2007 and 2009, and ranked nationally in 2009.
