Trinity Men's Rowing Edged By Williams For New England Championship Title
Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantam men's varsity eight crew finished second in the grand final of the New England Rowing Championships on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon. The Bantams posted a time of 6:04.215, which was 1.39 seconds behind first-place Williams. Bates, Worcester Tech, Wesleyan, and Coast Guard followed in third, fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. The Bantams had won the last four New England men's varsity eight titles. Trinity's second varsity and novice eights both won their grand final races by wide margins, helping the Bantams take the Overall Points Trophy.
