Trinity Men's Rowing Defeats Wesleyan In Three Races

Salem, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams swept varsity eight, second-varsity eight, and third-varsity eight races against the Wesleyan University Cardinals in men's rowing action this morning.  The Bantam men's varsity-eight crew finished 5.3 seconds faster than Wesleyan at 5:42.71, while Trinity's second varsity won at 5:51.39, besting Wesleyan's boat that came across at 5:56.13, and the Bantam third-varsity eight won by 1.54 seconds at 6:01.29.  Racing took place on flat water with a 10 mph tail wind.
