Trinity Men's Soccer Tunes Up For 2009 In the UK
Hartford, Conn., August 13, 2009 - The Trinity College men's soccer team will travel to the British Isles from August 16-25 to practice and play exhibition matches against elite teams from Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England. The Bantams, coached by Michael Smith (13th Season), finished the 2008 season with its best record since 2004 at 9-6 and a 4-5 conference mark. The Bantams came in sixth place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and earned their second consecutive NESCAC Championship Tournament appearance. Trinity lost, 2-0, in the NESCAC Quarterfinals at Middlebury.

Hartford, Conn., July 7, 2009 – Trinity College men’s soccer senior tri-captain goalkeeper Zac Trudeau (Norwell, Mass.) was selected to the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas College Scholar All-East Third Team and joined fellow men’s soccer seniors Nick Allen (Seattle, Wash.) and Brice Vallieres (Utica, N.Y.) and Trinity women’s soccer juniors Sarah Basile (North Granby, Conn.) and Lauren Olsen (Cheshire, Conn.) on the 2008 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic Team.
