Boynton Leads Trinity Men's Swimming And Diving To Fourth at Cardinal Invite

Middletown, Conn. - Sophomore Andrew Boynton (Northampton, Mass.) finished third in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 26.17 and totaled 74 points in his combined events to lead the Trinity College Bantams to fourth place in the Cardinal Men's Swimming and Diving Invitational at Wesleyan University this weekend.
Fellow sophomore Dan Remigino (Wethersfield, Conn.) totaled 52 points and placed third in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 56.51 and fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 28.99. Also giving strong performances were first-years Adam Eramo (Rowley, Mass.), who placed third in the 500-yard freestyle, and Gavin Tripp (Centerport, N.Y.), who placed third in the 400-yard individual medley. First-year Kyle Beek (Kingston, Jamaica) finished fourth and fifth in the three-meter and one-meter diving, respectively.
