Eramo and Jardim Swim And Dive Trinity Men To Win Over Wheaton

Norton, Mass. - Freshmen Adam Eramo (Rowley, Mass.) and Ben Jardim (Montego Bay, Jamaica) won two events apiece to lead the Trinity College Bantams to split in a tri-meet with the Connecticut College Camels and the host Wheaton College Lyons this afternoon.  Trinity lost to Connecticut College, 161-129, but downed Wheaton, 191.5-105.5, and is now 3-2.

Eramo won the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:08.12 and the 500-yard freestyle at 4:59.31, while Jardim won the one-meter diving at 232.57 and the three-meter event with a score of 223.65.  Freshman Tripp Gavin (Centerport, N.Y.)  added a first-place performance of 4:32.14 in the 400-yard individual medley for the Bantams.
