Trinity Men's Swimming And Diving Downs Brandeis On Final Relay

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantam 400-yard freestyle relay squad, consisting of junior captain Ayaas Bhamla (Weston, Mass.), sophomores Brooks Gerli (Sharon, Mass.) and C.J. Murdoch (Gladwynne, Pa.), and freshman Adam Eramo (Rowley, Mass.), finished first with a time of 3:21.99 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 152.5-139.5 win over the visiting Brandeis University Judges in men's swimming and diving action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 4-2, while the Judges fall to 4-5.
Trinity's 1-2 finish in the 400-yard free relay, the final event of the day, gave the Bantams the victory. Bantam sophomore Andrew Boynton (Northampton, Mass.) took first in the 100-yard back at 56.13 and the 200-yard back with a time of 2:02.31 in a win against Brandeis. He also helped Trinity place second in the 400-yard medley relay.
