Trinity Men's Swimming and Diving Edges Wheaton in Tri-Meet

New London, Conn. - The men's relay ‘A' and ‘B' teams took third and fifth place in the final event to secure a one-point victory over Wheaton, 147-146 at host Connecticut College in a tri-meet with the Camels and the Wheaton College Lyons. 

The men's relay ‘A' and ‘B' teams took third and fifth place in the final event to secure a one-point victory over Wheaton, 147-146.  Connecticut College swept the afternoon, topping the men 198-91 and the women 205-88, and also topping Wheaton in both men's and women's action.  In addition, the Wheaton women defeated Trinity 211-89. 

Freshman Kyle Beek (Kingston, Jamaica) led the way for the Bantam men, finishing first in both the 1-meter dive (246.85) and the 3-meter dive (232.11), while sophomore Adam Eramo (Rowley, Mass.) placed second in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:42.25), classmate Alex Latka (Longmeadow, Mass.) took second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.99), and first-year John Feminella (Millburn, N.J.) took second in the 50-yard freestyle (22.69).
