Trinity Places Third In Cardinal Men's Swimming And Diving Invitational

Middletown, Conn. – First-year Max Ma (Nanjing, China) won the 100- (1:01.43) and 200-yard (2:16.46) breaststroke events to lead the Trinity College Bantams to third place in the Cardinal Men's Swimming and Diving Invitational at Wesleyan University this weekend.  Trinity finished with 826.5 points, while the Worcester Tech Engineers finished first in the five-team field with 1,337.5 points. 

Ma was also second in the 50-yard breaststroke at 28.40, while junior Kyle Beek (Kingston, Jamaica) won the one-meter diving with a score of 255.20, senior tri-captain Andrew Boynton (Northampton, Mass.) took second in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:02.85, and freshman Mark Yanagisawa (Woodbridge, Conn.) was second in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:03.40.
