Trinity Men's Swimming And Diving Dominates In Win Against Clark

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams won each of the first 13 events on their way to a 189-95 victory over the visiting Clark University Cougars in men's swimming and diving action this evening at Trinity Natatorium.  Trinity improves to 3-1 with its third victory in a row, while Clark drops to 0-5.  The Bantams, which concluded their home schedule tonight, will visit Vassar tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Trinity took a 15-2 lead after the opening relay, as senior tri-captain Trip McConnell (Merion Station, Pa.) and first-years Blake Jamilkowski (New York, N.Y.), Radojilca Pavlovic (Belgrade, Serbia), and Charlie Roth (Alexandria, Va.) teamed up for a first-place time of 1:38.72 in the 200-yard medley.  Bantam rookie William Wynne (Cheshire, Conn.) won the 1,000-yard free at 10:45.22 to ignite a streak of 11 individual races in a row won by the Bantams.  McConnell, swimming at Trinity for the last time, Jamilkowski, Roth, and freshman Owen Hall (Potomac, Md.) won twice each, and senior tri-captain Hunter Mitchell-Adams (Stratford, Conn.) won the 50-yard freestyle in his last collegiate home meet.  Pavlovic added a first-place finish in the 100-yard free, and first-year diver Alex Schrock (Long Lake, Minn.) took first off the one-meter board for the Bantams.
