Trinity Men's Tennis Wins At Bates
Lewiston, Maine - The No. 19-ranked Trinity College Bantam men's
tennis team defeated the No. 24-ranked Bates College Bobcats
this afternoon, 7-2, in a New England Small College Athletic
Conference (NESCAC) contest featuring many close individual
matches. Visiting Trinity evens its conference record at
4-4 and is 9-5 overall, while Bates falls to 4-5 in NESCAC play and
9-5 overall. Trinity senior co-captains David Yahng
(Hong Kong) and Gautam Samarth (Pune,
India) and freshman Anson McCook (Coconut
Beach, Fla.) were each victorious in singles and
doubles.
