Trinity Men's Tennis Advances Easily In Stag-Hen Invitational


Claremont, Calif. - Senior co-captai Gautam Samarth (Pune, India) won, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 3 singles and teamed with freshman Charles McConnell (Southampton, N.Y.) for an 8-4 triumph at third doubles, leading the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 victory over Pacific Lutheran University in the quarterfinals of the Stag-Hen Men's Tennis Invitational at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps this afternoon. Trinity, ranked No. 5 in the Northeast and No. 12 in the nation, improves to 1-1 overall and advances to the semifinals against the host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags.
