Trinity Men's Tennis Blanks Wesleyan

Middletown, Conn. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams blanked the Wesleyan University Cardinals, 9-0, in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action this afternoon.  Trinity, ranked No. 7 in the Northeast and No. 24 in the nation, improves to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the NESCAC. Senior tri-captains Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) and Charles McConnell (New York, N.Y.) and first-year Ned Mandel (Chevy Chase, Md.) won in straight sets in singles.  Trinity dominated the doubles, winning by a combined to score of 24-8 to jump out to a 3-0 lead.
