Trinity Men's Tennis Ranked No. 24 Nationally After Fall Season

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's tennis team, coached by Paul Assaiante (17th Season), are ranked No. 9 in the Northeast and No. 24 nationally in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Rankings. The Bantams, which went 1-1 during its fall season that also included three individual tournaments, posted a 9-8 overall record and a 5-4 mark in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) in 2011-12. Closing last year with a 5-0 loss to Bowdoin in Bennington, Vt. in the NESCAC Championship First Round, the Bantams finished No. 7 in the 2011-12 ITA Division III Northeast Regional Poll and No. 24 in the ITA Division III National Poll.
