Trinity Men's Tennis Shuts Out Babson

Claremont, Calif. - Sophomore Ilya Levin (Wellesley, Mass.) won at No. 3 singles in straight sets and teamed with classmate Ned Mandel (Chevy Chase, Md.) for an 8-0 shutout win at No. 3 doubles to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 victory over the Babson College Beavers in men's tennis match action this evening at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. Trinity, ranked No. 7 in the Northeast, improves to 3-2 overall , while Babson drops to 4-3.  Trinity dominated doubles play, winning by a combined score of 24-9, and won four of six singles matches in straight sets.
