Trinity Men's Tennis Blanked By Bates

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams dropped a 9-0 decision against the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Bates College Bobcats in men's tennis action this afternoon at Assaiante Center.  The Bantams fall to 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the NESCAC with their third loss in a row, while the Bobcats improves to 4-7 overall and 3-1 in the league.  Trinity senior tri-captain Jagger Riefler (Wimbledon, England) and sophomore Chris Caskin (Potomac, Md.) both took their opponent to a third set, but were beaten, 10-4, and 10-3, respectively.  Bates won all three doubles matches by at least an 8-4 count.
