Trinity Men's Tennis Loses NESCAC Opener To Bowdoin

Claremont, Calif. - The Trinity College Bantams suffered a 9-0 loss at the hands of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Bowdoin College Polar Bears in men's tennis action this afternoon.  Trinity falls to 2-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference, while the No. 3-ranked Polar Bears are now 5-1.  Trinity's third doubles pair, junior Rex Glickman (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and first-year Courtland Boyle (Pembroke, Mass.) lost on a tiebreaker, 9-8 (7), and senior tri-captain William Boyd (Hillsborough, Calif.) came up short at second singles, losing the first set, 6-4, winning the second, 7-6 (3), and falling in the tiebreaker, 10-4.
