Middlebury, Vt. - Senior tri-captain Spencer Feldman (Upper Brookville, N.Y.) and sophomore Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) advanced to the doubles finals on Saturday with an 8-5 win in the quarterfinals and an 8-4 triumph in the semifinals but lost in the finals, 8-5, in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III New England Regional Division III Men's Championships this afternoon at Williams College.

Feldman and McCook Reach Middlebury Men's Tennis Invitational Doubles Final

Middlebury, Vt. - Senior tri-captain Spencer Feldman (Upper Brookville, N.Y.) and sophomore Anson McCook (Miami, Fla.) played their way into the "A" doubles flight finals, but lost, 9-7, against Amrit Rupasinge and Matt Bettles, of Bates, in the Middlebury College Men's Tennis Invitational this afternoon.





Over the past few seasons, the Trinity men's tennis team has consistently reached the NCAA Division III Team Championship, contended for the NESCAC Championship title, and annually qualified players for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. The Bantams, coached by Paul Assaiante, have achieved the depth and quality of players that puts them at the top of the regional and national Division III rankings each fall and spring.
