Trinity Men’s Track Finishes Third in Tufts Indoor Invitational
Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantams were represented in the top five of fourteen different events en route to a third place overall finish in the Tufts Indoor Invitational this afternoon at the Gantcher Family Sports & Convocation Center.
Junior Sam Pegram (Wayland, Mass.) won the long jump with a mark of 6.78m., sophomore Brendan Powers (Middletown, Mass.) won the mile run with a time of 4:22.93, and junior Alex Baillargeon (Westbrook, Me.) finished first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.03 to lead the way for the Bantams.
