Three Bantam Men Record Firsts In Trinity Invitational Track Meet
Hartford, Conn. - Men's junior captain Bill Monahan (Hingham, Mass) won the 100-meter hurdles at 15.92, while freshman Chance Jennings (Roxbury, Conn.) won the pole vault with a cleared height of 3.66 m, and junior Sam Pegram (Wayland, Mass) won the long jump with a leap of 6.50 m, as the Trinity College Bantams hosted their annual Trinity Invitational Track and Field Meet this afternoon on Jessee/Miller Field. Bantam freshman Mike Burnstein (Brookline, Mass.) placed second in the 10,000 meter-run with a time of 32:59.68, Sophomore Blake Fisher (Naperville, Ill,) placed third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:39.
