Trinity Mens Track and Field Team Takes Sixth At UMass

Amherst, Mass. - The Trinity College men's track and field team
posted a sixth place finish in the University of Massachusetts
Spring Meet. Trinity scored 62 points in the meet, topping
two Division I programs including Boston College and the University
of Hartford.
Sophomore Michael Goulet (Glastonbury, Conn.) won
the shot put (14.55 m), and finished in the top five in both the
hammer throw (42.34) and the discus throw (41.00 m) to lead the
Bantams. Senior Sam Moorhead (Dedham, Mass.)
finished second overall in the 1,500-meter run (3:56.95) and four
other Bantams took top-five finishes in their events.
